Who is Situs?

Situs is a six piece rock band based out of Terre Haute, Indiana. The members include co-writers; Lead Vocalist - Elliott Usrey, Lead Guitarist - Marcus Rogers, Keyboardist - Logan Lundstrom, Bassist - Jeff Gorham, Guitarist - Bryar Nevins, and Drummer - Nick Hofmeister. Since the band’s 2005 debut CD release “Last Day In Advance”, they have steadily built an impressive following throughout the Midwest. Recently Situs has opened for Rust/Universal recording artist Cherry Monroe at the Historical Indiana Theatre, and performed an impressive set at Cleveland’s Hard Rock Café while showcasing for three major record labels. The band received considerable media attention the past year which included an appearance on NBC/WTWO’s “Live at Five”, the cover of “Sites and Sounds” in the Terre Haute Tribune-Star, a feature in IQ magazine’s “Band of the Moment”, and a feature story in the “Indiana Statesman”.

Michael Mitchell, Executive Vice President & General Manager of Sony/DADC had this to say about Situs’ music: “From cover to cover I was driven deeper into my chair by the power and musicality of this band……Obvious nuances of at least four decades of rock music’s best are skillfully woven throughout the eleven tracks.”

June 2nd of 2006 the band played a CD release concert at the Indiana Theatre in Terre Haute before a huge crowd to promote the release of their second album entitled “Make Us See”, and soon after played their first in-store performance at F.Y.E. in Honey Creek Mall. Situs most recently signed a representation agreement with Neil Sheehan, owner of Hardcore Marketing and A&R Representative for Rust/Sony-BMG Records and is scheduled to record with well known Cleveland producer, Don Debiase (Beneath the Sky/Victory, Seventh Plague/Metal Blade Records.) To sum it up, Situs is a young and uniquely talented band that continues to make new fans by writing great rock songs and delivering powerful live performances.
